St Helens’ academy star Joe Sharratt is progressing well in the neurology ward at Salford Royal Hospital after suffering head injuries during an incident in Manchester at the weekend.
The young player will remain in hospital for the next few days but can be seen sitting up in bed and recovering well.
The player, his family and St Helens have thanked the Rugby League community for the overwhelming support from well-wishers.
