Swinton Lions have been hit with a winding-up petition.
A notice was published on the London Gazette website that confirmed a petition to wind-up Swinton Lions Rugby League Club Limited was presented by HM Revenue & Customs on April 4th.
The petition is set to be heard on Monday, June 12 at the High Court in London.
Swinton moved to reassure fans that the issue had been dealt with.
“Swinton Lions can confirm that this matter has been fully dealt with and is now resolved,” they said on Twitter.
