Titans Outlast Warriors

The Gold Coast Titans continued their stunning recent form with an entertaining 32-28 victory over the Warriors in Auckland today. The victory marked the third successive week that they have scored 30 points or more in a game, a first for the club.

Both sides took it in turns to score the first six tries of the game before the Titans opened up a lead through consecutive tries to James Roberts, Kane Elgey and Ryan James midway through the second half before the Warriors scored two tries in the space of 5 minutes though Solomone Kata and Bodene Thompson to bring their deficit down to just a try with only enough time for one more play. The Warriors marched upfield with relative ease but were unable to score the final try they required for victory.
