Wakefield land Anthony England on two-year deal

Wakefield have announced the signing of Warrington prop Anthony England on a two-year contract starting from next season.

The prop forward, who played with Stuart Dickens at Featherstone, will reunite with the Wildcats assistant from 2016 onwards after penning his deal, and he says he’s looking forward to experiencing working with another Smith, Wakey coach Brian.

“I’m made up to be signing for an up and coming Super League club.” admits England.

“I’m really looking forward to getting into training with the boys and excited about the new signings.”

“It will be great to work with Stu Dickens again and I’m also looking forward to seeing the different styles of coaching between the Smith brothers. Not to mention playing in front of an amazing set of fans.”
