PLACES can still be booked for a referees’ course in Wales on Saturday (2 June).
The event, which has been organised by the Wales Rugby League, is taking place at Sardis Road, Pontypridd, and starts at 10.15am.
Participants will focus on theory for the first three hours and, after lunch, will monitor the referee’s performance in the Welsh Premier League match between Rhondda Outlaws and Cardiff Blue Dragons, conducting an analysis afterwards.
The cost is £10 and would-be whistlers should email paul.chambers@walesrugbyleague.co.uk, stating name, email address and contact details.
