Women’s Challenge Cup and Challenge Shield quarter-final draws made

Castleford Tigers will host St Helens in the headline tie of the Women’s Challenge Cup quarter-finals, with games to be played on week-ending July 1.

The Tigers recovered from a 14-6 half-time deficit to beat holders Bradford Bulls 32-14 at Odsal on Sunday and will welcome Saints, who were 78-0 winners against Hull FC at the Totally Wicked Stadium in round one, to West Yorkshire.

The other all-Women’s Super League tie sees Wigan Warriors travel to face 2017 Cup finalists, Featherstone Rovers.

Elsewhere, Leeds Rhinos have been drawn at home to The Army – who overcame Hull Wyke 84-0 to seal their place in the last eight.

And Championship title contenders Barrow will be looking to cause an upset when they welcome Super League’s York City Knights to Cumbria.

The Women’s Challenge Shield quarter final draw has also taken place, with Hull FC set to play Wakefield Trinity on home turf in the tie of the round.

The 2018 Women’s Challenge Cup Final will be hosted at Wigan’s Robin Park Arena on Saturday, August 4, with the Women’s Challenge Shield Final kicking off a double-header of action (Kick-offs TBC).
