How many up or down?

At the end of the season does anybody know for certain how many teams will be going up and down between Championship and Championship 1.

I have heard a rumour that this year only one team is dropping.

I would have expected it to be two.

This would through Keighley or Whitehaven a life line but cause hugh upset for either Blackpool, Oldham or Hunslet

Two, as stated on the RFL web site.

There are rumours every year about the numebr for P&R, and they remain rumours every year.

OTOH things may change if we were to get a couple of clubs winking up.
