Bradford are on a very slippery slope.

Doubt they'll get many back even if they start winning again.
Just because you think everyone hates you doesn't mean they don't.

We are spending 220k under the cap and are losing 22k every home game sad.gif .

Then you answer your own question as to why Bulls are where they are Mick.

Bulls are unable to compete with the big boys due to money, not because of McNamara or some god given right to win this season because you used to win years ago has been denied?

Your "we don't win anymore" ramblings don't make any sense?? What exactly is your point........??

Wasn't we told that the Bulls coach for next season would be annouced this past week?

No, we were told they hoped to be able to announce it this week.

That depends on how you quantify 'many' to be fair.

The whole 'Bullmania' thing, with the massive crowds, involved a large proportion of youngsters. The club certainly tried hard to encourage them with cheap deals (often as little as £1 a time), but the problem with kids is that when it's perceived as 'cool' to go to the rugby they can't get enough, but things quickly become 'uncool' on planet youth as the next craze takes over, and then the support can dissipate just as quickly as it came.

So in the sense of total numbers I think you're most probably correct, though in the sense of income derived through the gate, a good run should hopefully attract a fair few full paying adults back and financially that would be a boost. As would a tilt at the play-offs which might be another result of a decent run. biggrin.gif

Forget about Mick Potter and what the new coach will offer, the facts are that we have now had two seasons with no play-off finish.

Well you can forget about any more play-off's if Potter takes charge. He's turned Saints into one of the most boring teams to watch and in many games over the last few seasons its only moments of brilliance from the likes of Pryce, Eastmond, Cunningham, Gidley & Roby that has won so many games. Sadly for Bradford they dont have these kind of players.

He seemed to do alright without those players at Catalans a couple of years back. Sometimes a coach just doesn't fit a club, and since he's proved what he is capable of in Perpignan I'd guess that is the problem at Saints. Maybe a few senior egos at the club who think he doesn't coach the 'Saints way' causing a bit of friction perhaps?

Don't talk rubbish, it's nothing about having a God given right to win games but seeing the effort from the players out on the field which has been 0 for some time now.

The players are badly underperforming, showing no effort, no pride, no passion or determination whatsoever, they just don't look interested when out on the field as the game on Friday proved.

This is what's putting people off coming Odsal, and this is what will kill the club.

As I've said and when I get round to giving a full response to Errols thread, you'll find that the lazy attitude McNamara has allowed for the last four years has been one which has in my eyes caused irreversible terminal damage.

You could of course argue that now is the time for the true fans of the club to rally round, as their hard earned has never been more needed.

It's alright telling we supporters to rally round, but there must be some meffort by the players themselves. Last Friday was just another match when the side faileled to pull together and put some real effort in to attempting to win. We do have some experienced players on the park who are more than capable of achieving more. There are some good young players who need guidance but are not getting it, on paper the Friday night side were more than capable of providing a more closer contest, but many just never competed.
This side is capable of so much more, and do not forget they actually have played well against the best-such as Warrington.

A completely fresh approach is needed the list could be miles long but here goes.

* Make the decision for coach ASAP
* A coach that will give the fans some hope that the club are heading in the right direction
* A vocal Chairman (he might be doing good behind the scenes but WE NEED TO KNOW)
* There are 3/4 definite players that a majority of the Bulls fans don't want near the side next year. A random 3 year contract has been handed out to one player who is average at best. Let's not resign those poor players.
* Give Menzies a one year extension then offer him Coaching contract after that.
* Release Lee St Hilaire after his contract finishes.
* Let McNamara go now and let Medley over until the end.
* Make a decision on Orford BEFORE end of season.
* Rebrand the club, new badge, outlook, kit, ideas, mascot, lottery anything that can breathe new life back into an ailing brand. 16 years ago we became the Bulls, now I'm not suggesting we change names but a new approach to things would be a start.
* Turn water into wine
* Feed the 5000
* Merge with Leeds.
