And Briscoe's tackle at the end… superb. I think the 'yoof' would say he 'owned' Peter Fox

Brilliant game for the neutrals - thoroughly enjoyed that. Great passion, some bone-crunching hits, good tries, comedy errors and a bit of biff. What more do you want in a game?

Score?
edit. You posted "Rovers have stolen this..." but did they?

Time is up on the clock, one last throw of the dice by Rovers attacking in the Hull FC 30m center field.
Up goes the bomb which has some serious hang-time on it.
The ball is thrown backwards by a Rovers player and they see the space outwide toward the touchline.
The ball lands with Peter Fox who heads for the corner.
But he's got young Tom Briscoe around him as he goes over in the corner.
I thought it was a try from the head on camera shot, but after the replays via the video referee his right leg is in touch before he crosses the whitewash.
Phew, if that was Bradford I'd be on my way to A&E right now with chest pains.

He also lost the ball - even if he'd not been in touch it would have been a knock on.
Terrific tackle from Tom Briscoe - rightly lauded by the muppets in the Sky com box.

ABsolutely superb game and entertainment - genuinely edge of the seat stuff for me and THAT tackle was nothing short of Fantatstc.
Some massive hits, bit of biff, close game, brilliant atmosphere
What a game Rugby League is
Really shuffed for Old Frightful and his entourage!
Forgot to mention - Cockayne - the most petulant, arrogant thug ever to play the game, I'd love to see him smashed!

Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.
I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try
Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

Loved the match and fantastic atmosphere. Just one point, though. Reference the mini brawl, I recall a similar incident getting slated on here, saying it wasn't good for the sport if we wished to attract more younger people!
We wait and see what action the RFL will take. Will they gloss it over or dish out a severe punishment?

Great game - one of the few I've seen this season played with real passion and intensity. Lets see if the two Ws on the other side of the Pennines can match it tonight!

Cheers Carl. What a night. Real Dr Who behind the sofa stuff for the large part. Difficult to enjoy when you're that nervous but somehow I managed it!
On 13/2/2013, Hull City's owners the Allams, released a statement in their position as the owners of the KC Stadium Management Committee. One line in this statement read as follows....
"The SMC's principal responsibility is to remain neutral"

Sorry, but you do not know how young people think. For many, that 30 second fisticuff would have been the highlight of the game.
What a great game and a brilliant advert for RL.
Sky should be putting more fixtures like this on. A big crowd, atmosphere, passion, close game. How much more this does to grow RL than always showing Harlequins home games with under 1000 people there reading newspapers.
Now, fingers crossed that one of the Bristol 3D pubs is showing the game tonight

I agree no one knows what young people think. I'm only mentioning what was said previously by many posters over a similar situation. It was suggested incidents like these would put off parents from allowing their children to take up rugby league.
At the time, the lengthy thread sided both ways. My opinion is these things happen in sport.

^I couldn't give a stuff what parents think about their kids with incidents like this, it's all part of the game. Nine times out of ten, their parents not liking it will make them want to play the game even more.
Brilliant game. Introduced a guy to rugby league for the first time last night in a pub in Plymouth, and he absolutely loved it. He's looking forward to tonights game now.

Well done to FC, the better team on the night won.
More idea, more go forward and also that little bit of luck we all need from time to time.
