It was the ten minutes after half-time that killed you mate, you didn't touch the ball for eight minutes as Rovers scored five tries in that period.

According to BBC Mancs, Salford were missing ten regulars and had one lad playing who played in the Academy curtain raiser.

Is that correct? Difficult times for the Reds if so.

Not quite OF. 10 injured sure but Academy lad made debut at spare Hooker but Tyrer played half the Academy match today and then played the full 80 minutes. Playing squad stretched to say the least but next years signings look very exciting.
