Since this starts tonight, I thought we may as well have a thread. Predictions, updates, complaints, observations, rants about Turry and Barrie's obsession with Widnes etc etc.

This weekend's elimination play-offs…

Thursday (tonight)
Leigh v Sheffield (K.O 7.30pm, Sky Sports 4)

God knows what Sheffield side will turn up, so I'll plump for Leigh by 10. I hope I'm wrong biggrin.gif

Sunday
Widnes v Barrow (K.O 3pm)

Widnes by a big margin. Suspect Barrow have properly 'gone'.

Overall, Fev to win the final

I wouldn't say Barrow have properly 'gone',they still have the players to beat a poor Widnes side. Wether those players turn up or not remains to be seen?
Agree with you about Fev though, best team i've seen this season and they deserve it.

Overall, Fev to win the final

Incidentally, my views on Barrow were based solely on the shenanigans going on at the club - they seem to be running out of cash, players unhappy etc. I could well be proved wrong, but they seem in bad shape.

Stop smiling tongue.gif wink.gif

Fev for mine me....deserved if they do...can't see anything past a Fax v Fev final, but we should get some good games along the way

Sorry. Not an anti-Leigh thing - rather excitement that we won a close, exciting game.

Fax are beatable, but I'm not confident that Widnes/Barrow/Sheffield will have enough to beat them after two hard games in two weeks.

I'd like to be proved wrong though.

Yes, I'm aware of that.

So, who beat Fev in the Championship this year? Sheffield and Batley? Were there others?

Batley didnt beat us at all this season

Weve had four defeats this season

Our only two league defeats were to toulouse and sheffield both at home and by 2 points

Our cup defeats were away to Leigh in the NRC in the group stages and to away Warrington in the challenege cup but we were the team that they conceded the most to during their cup run
