I see Town are the first recipients of the brand new Premier Sports club of the week award, which will be awarded to the best performance each week in the Championships,

They've also started the Premier Sports team of the week and Town have 2 players in it - Callum Phillips at hooker and Jarrad Stack at 2nd Row.

Well done to all at the club.

Workington Town. Then. Now. Always.

Well done to everyone at the club.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.
