The Thomas McNiven Memorial Day is taking place on Sunday 12th May at Stanningley ARLFC's Arthur Miller Stadium.

There will be two charity matches on the day which will begin with a 12 noon clash when the Stanningley 1986 team will play Stanningley 1994 team. This will be followed at 2.00pm when the Stanningley Under 18's take on the Scotland Under 18's Exiles.

Both these matches are been played on this memorial day to pay tribute to Thomas McNiven who sadly passed away this year. Thomas had been involved with the Stanningley ARLFC for many years arranging trips to Wembley, Old Trafford and Magic Weekends, as well as arranging and attending fund raising trips for the Stanningley club.

Everyone is welcome and there is a small entrance fee of £2 where all proceeds will be donated to the Teaching Hospital Charitable Foundation a charity that was close to Thomas McNiven.
