Hi folks,A few players needing treatment tonight for little knocks and bruises. The lads on the field tonight were put through another set of gruelling tasks, but as usual the boys survived them, but were breathing hard a bit,the second set was more of ballwork going through moves which were different than tuesday.I have to say phil was getting very frustrated with people dropping the ball, and passes going astray, and the build up led to phil telling them what he thought of garbage they were putting on display,i have to tell you it was not pleasant to hear and i was 50 yards away, but i guess they got the message has all well that ends well finally got through. On the injury side,it was good to see Elliot doing some light work, big Tom was in with the physio, but came on to join Elliot,i had a bit of banter with kurt particularly the weather, but he was happy to be here and looking forward to get on the field, but most of all it was a bit warmer than tuesday he said. The lads were looking forward to playing wigan on sunday, most of the young boys in particular tee,was going to enjoy it,young sam,and scott aikhurst couldn't wait, and that shows us,the fans, that we have signed three cracking young kids from maryport with a big love for the game, and for Workington town.Well thats all townies,i can assume that we are all looking forward to the Wigan game, and in particular who they are bringing up with the U19s for the game, all in all it should be a good money spinner for the club,so try to bring a friend or two along and has i have said,it all go's to towns coppers, enjoy the game lads and lasses, because i will.....
