This guy will be missed one of the best in our league on tonight's performance
I agree n'all Mo'. However, time to move on.
On the players who have moved to Fax, or are going to, all contributed well and have left us with some great memories. Saxton was one of my favourite players and a top bloke, Sharp is a similar mould. Steve Slater makes a good point about Kay and how he contributes. But hey, so have many other players before.
Lets hope the lads putting the shirt on for the remainder of the season read how the Rams name is already being carved on this championship 8's trophy and decide to do something about it.
Rents paid by clubs to council owned grounds are five figure sums per game. This being the obvious advantage clubs like ours have owning our own ground.
Why not cash in if we can - we use it about 15 times per year. Would the pitch stand up to it? I doubt there would be a problem. The Wakey lads don't run about much, they just tend to stand behind the sticks most of the game
Absolutely delighted for the club and fans, what a result but absolutely gutted I missed it,was in Manchester watching Fleetwood Mac,had to keep tapping my phone to make sure it wasn't broke when I saw the score,I know it's all academic but do you think we would have achieved the same result if the fixture would have gone ahead as planned weeks ago ?
Hmmm, go watch Fleetwood Mac or Fev?
Think I would have told our lass I'm off to watch Fev, 'you can go your own way'.
Don't just need cover for injuries, you need cover for the unforeseen, don't forget need cover for suspensions too - ask Leigh and Fax. Apparently fighting, in last Sunday's game between the two, was interrupted when a game of rugby broke out on the field
Too fed up to post last night, agree with all of the above.
For me London got tactics spot on, kicking early if not making ground to make sure we were always starting from our own line in wet conditions. We didn't play conditions well - we must have dropped the ball a dozen times.
I sat in the new stand last night and on the rare occasion we got down that end was sad to see no on field leader. The only bloke who looked like he was trying to organise things was Sharpy - the bloke looked upset how things were going and was drifting in from the wing shouting orders.
Any chance Stuart Dickens will still have a pair of boots?
Also, player of the month awarded to Sam Irwin - good to hear Sam say a few words.
Good to hear report on positive start made by U16's. Young kid from Oldham won player of the month. Interesting to hear how U16's made up from players all over the place (York's, Lanc's and Humberside) who want to play for the Rovers.
