Too fed up to post last night, agree with all of the above.
For me London got tactics spot on, kicking early if not making ground to make sure we were always starting from our own line in wet conditions. We didn't play conditions well - we must have dropped the ball a dozen times.
I sat in the new stand last night and on the rare occasion we got down that end was sad to see no on field leader. The only bloke who looked like he was trying to organise things was Sharpy - the bloke looked upset how things were going and was drifting in from the wing shouting orders.
Any chance Stuart Dickens will still have a pair of boots?
Also, player of the month awarded to Sam Irwin - good to hear Sam say a few words.
Good to hear report on positive start made by U16's. Young kid from Oldham won player of the month. Interesting to hear how U16's made up from players all over the place (York's, Lanc's and Humberside) who want to play for the Rovers.
Just in case people think a jar of change won't make much difference, could you please post your running total for monies raised by this method. It's amazing what can be achieved if we all muck in. The total you quoted when we last spoke was jaw dropping - I could have a guess but don't want to steal your thunder.
You, like the volunteers working on the ground, deserve a medal.
Wood a clear leader. Ran in well and constantly talking / organising. Just 2nd for me Sharpe, makes a lot of yards with tacklers on his back. You learn a lot about players when things not going your way. Think Wood and Sharpe set a good example.

After all the shenanigans of last season, at times I was left wondering would we have a club never mind anything else. Then like a phoenix rising from the ashes we see the volunteers carrying on their good work, and MC and the board delivering a squad most people could only have dreamt about, yes there may have been some things not right but above all else we should be shouting from the rooftops what we are achieving at this club this season. If people have a problem with how the club is run go straight to the man at the top I'm sure he will accommodate you with an honest answer. I appreciate we all have different opinions but this season should be about positivity and generating interest back into this great club.
Agree 100% Knottla.
Lets get back to, as you rightly say 'shouting from the roof top's'
If you draw up a list of all the good stuff which is happening at the club any short term issues, like the pitch, instantly fade away.
Think of where Terry Hudson scored the match winning try against Bradford in 83. Can still see his poker face now as he got mobbed. And Jeff Grayshon lying on the floor having been poleaxed by John Marsden moments before.
Remeber it well.
Still got the bad back from helping carry Dave Hobb's off the field at end of match on our shoulders. Never did get my pit helmet back, which he put on as we carried him off (back in them days some Rovers fans wore pit helmets to semi finals and finals)
After meeting spoke with MC, other attendees and some of the volunteers working on the ground. Got a very positive feeling that we are back on the right track. Obviously still lots to do, and we do have considerable debt, but, right people in place to maintain upward curve.
