  1. Think hornets may struggle unless they hit major form, their 2 games in hand over the pack only takes them to fifth if they win both...but yes in all probability the four are there but there may be a few twists and turns on the way. As for playoffs, we'll just have to wait & see..if SL goes to 14 teams and Salford implode, gawd knows what the rfl will come up with for Ch and L1.
  2. Well, we split the difference at 14 After a spirited first half in the heat the second half was less frantic and more tempers were fraying, 16-6 at HT only got to 20-6 at ft, but a win's a win. Fair do's to both teams, not a good day for RL, too hot. My predictions of the Goole/haven and worky/canes games could go either way turned into blowouts for the home teams, well done Vikings for putting more than 50 on haven. Worky did us and Swinton a good turn by turning over hurricanes, the end of season run-in is going to be very interesting
  3. I think we should win by a good few more than 4...fingers crossed
  4. Us and Swinton home wins, the other 2 could go either way. We need to back up last week's super win over worky, and I see no reason why we won't....
  5. Guys if you're coming over for Sunday bring your sunscreen, it's supposed to be a bit hot
  6. Well, what can I say?? First game I've got to for a long while, and what a day to go...superb performance by Cru who really turned the screws in the second half. Worky to their credit kept trying and were fortunate to get 2 scores in second half with a bit of wind help on kicks, but fair play it worked for them. I think the travelling fans were a bit despondent and didn't celebrate their second half scores much but we were well and truly out of sight by then It was also good to catch up with some of the Cru faithful, and coming home with not much of a voice left
  7. We've pretty much tried that a few years back...no incentive for the bottom clubs, even with a hubcap on offer
  8. That's the one I remembered on the match thread...pair of legends
  9. That is such a sad loss, Big Kev was an absolute legend in his support for Thunder. I'll never forget him and Jim Bradley, by themselves at the Racecourse, making more noise than most visiting fans could manage. RIP Kev.
  10. Wow, didn't see the Goole result coming...the other games look as predicted but this was a bit of a shock. Now if we can win that game in hand ....
  11. And Cru do the double over 'canes this season..3 pts clear
  12. I'll go with those, except.... Another win for Cru, cementing our spot on top of the table Should be a good game though..
  13. Enjoyed the game, but I think Wire lost it rather than Rovers won it. If, in all those times Wire were down inside the KR 20, they would have kicked a few drop goals they would have won. It seems a poor decision when their game management was for the most part pretty good, and they had GW and MS on the pitch who are both more than capable of knocking them over.
  14. You've certainly come on well in the last couple of seasons... We'll still have to beat you again this year though
