Rob Burrow - a Rugby League phenomenon

Recommended Posts

I've always looked up to Rob Burrow (if you'll pardon the pun) as a personal hero of mine both as a Leeds player and a smaller athlete. He's the living embodiment of how the standard 6ft1, bulky, one size fits all rugby player is just not the way to go and has undoubtedly been an inspiration for smaller lads when they start watching, and even playing the game. All round great guy who has defied the odds to become Leeds (and League) great.

Personal favourite moments must be his fight with the huge Hull player and 'that try' against Saints in the 2011 Grand Final.
