Many years ago, I spoke at a dinner, I forget where, with David and I remember two of his stories. The game of Rugby was invented at Rugby School when they were playing football and William Webb Ellis picked the ball up and ran with it and placed it behind the goalposts and said, ' What shall shall I do with it now?' And that's how the rugby ball got its shape. And Keith Jarrett who featured in a very famous win against England in Wales celebrated with his team mates and then went to catch his bus home about midnight. At the bus station, the bus driver recognised him and said to jump aboard and he would take him home to his village. An inspector then arrived and said 'No bus leaves this depot after midnight,' The driver replied that it was Keith Jarrett who had scored 19 points against the English at the Arms Park. The Inspector then said, 'In that case, take a double decker as he might fancy a fag on the way home.'
