  1. To the fans of both Bradford and Leigh I can wholeheartedly recommend going. The experience was amazing, especially if you love talking to other people about Rugby League. Meeting Aussie fans and chatting to them. Freemont Street fan experience is unreal. Vegas itself if you have never been (even if you are a non gambler like me). Go to the Grand Canyon and the Hoover dam if you can. Make it a holiday to visit other places if you can. We spent 5 days in Vegas and 4 nights in San Francisco. The trip was incredible ( even if we did get hammered). Start saving if you can it is so worth it!
  2. Anyway enough of looking back. Lets hope the team that takes the field this weekend does the business and kicks some Aussie backsides!
  3. The amount of podcasts I have seen this week with Ex Saints players on defending him is unreal. I know you are loyal to ex teammates but come on give yourself some credibility and call it right.
  4. Depends on the stats you look at as well. I have seen a good talk by Gus Gould on this subject, he references the fact that a lot of the stats we see on sites. The clubs just don't look at or consider important. They are looking for other things completely.
  5. And the total opposite to the kid he was up against for Australia. He didn't bottle any tackles, and his defence as much as his attacking play won the Grand Final in the NRL for his team.
  6. He did exactly the same thing in the Tonga series 2 years ago, I couldn't believe it then as I had never seen an international player bottle a tackle. Then he does exactly the same again against Australia! Staggering to be honest.
  7. Yeah that was the one. We were behind the posts were Crooks kicked it.
  8. The greatest sporting achievement by any club from Hull has been the 2025 season by Hull Kingston Rovers!
  9. We must have been sitting very close to each other because it was right in front of us as well!
  10. Not exactly sure of the year might be 1985 but it was the test at Elland Road between us and New Zealand finished 6 all. Went on a school trip where they allowed parents as well, so quite a few Dad's went as well. Really good day.
  11. That sums his season up really. Defensive liability, doesn't have the same work rate off the ball as others but the coach loves him so he is in the team. Meanwhile our most destructive second rower has been dropped. Hopefully it won't cost us when we play Wigan!
  12. But the has been graded at a C for that tackle which is nowhere near a C. He doesn't swing his arm into contact, in fact from different angles it looks like the damage to Bennison is caused by the other players knee catching the top of his head and in fact JWH may not have touched his head.
  13. Not something Warrington will need to worry about.
  14. Congratulations to Sir Billy Boston, well deserved and not before time!
  15. Thanks guys very helpful. What sort of prices were flights and accommodation guys? And where did you stay?
