Hull FC: Westerman going nowhere

Hull FC chairman Adam Pearson has insisted that star forward Joe Westerman is not for sale, after speculation continues to link the 25-year-old with a move away from the club.

Leeds and Warrington have been linked with a move for Westerman, who has just returned from international duty with England in the Four Nations.

But Pearson says there are no truth in rumours linking Westerman with a move away from the KC Stadium, and assured Hull fans he is going nowhere.

“There is absolutely no truth in this story whatsoever,” Pearson told the Hull Daily Mail.

“We’ve had no approach from any club for Joe and even if one did come at some point we would not entertain it at all because he’s a big player for us.

“I can assure everyone Joe is going nowhere and he’s very happy at Hull. There is not one bit of truth in any of the reports.”
