Castleford Tigers head coach Daryl Powell has paid tribute to the resurgence of Craig Huby, as his season got even better with a call into Steve McNamara’s England squad last week.
Huby, alongside his Cas team-mates Daryl Clark and Michael Shenton, will head to Loughborough on Sunday for the mid-season training camp, and Powell believes it is no less than the forward deserves, especially given how he battled back from almost a year away from the game due to injury.
“It’s amazing recognition for the hard work that they’ve put in, but for Craig Huby it’s the finish of a long road back from injury,” Powell claimed.
