Hull KR boss Chris Chester has said the club are hopeful of securing a permanent deal for second-rower Kevin Larroyer, with a deal potentially announced in the coming days.
Larroyer has impressed during his season-long loan at the Robins in 2014, scoring seven tries and being consistently regarded as one of Hull KR’s form players. And the Robins boss admits the club are desperate to keep him, and tie down his long-term future with the club.
“All being well, Kevin Larroyer will be here next season,” Chester said. “Hopefully, something will get announced shortly, but we are waiting for some paperwork to come through.
“We’ve very hopeful of signing him. We’d like to have him here on a long-term deal.
“He is still contracted to Catalan and they have been great loaning him to us this season. Hopefully, it will be the same for the future and talks are ongoing with both clubs.”
