Craig Huby is IN Castleford’s 19-man squad for the Challenge Cup Final this weekend, just two weeks after dislocating his elbow against Widnes Vikings.
The fitness of Huby – one of the standout props in Super League this season – has been arguably the biggest talking point heading into the showpiece Wembley event this Saturday, after he suffered the horrific injury in the semi-final win against the Vikings two weeks ago.
And, after Daryl Powell refused to rule the forward out of contention at Monday’s pre-match press conference, the forward will travel to Wembley, and has taken his place in Daryl Powell’s squad.
Justin Carney returns after his two-match suspension which saw him miss the semi-final – meaning James Clare is left out of the squad for the game.
Castleford Tigers 19-man squad for Challenge Cup Final: Dixon, Webster, Shenton, Carney, Dorn, Sneyd, Lynch, Milner, Huby, Hauraki, Massey, Mariano, Finn, Clark, Wheeldon, Holmes, Jewitt, Carvell, Ellis.
