Warrington Wolves have confirmed that young prop forward Tom Walker has been transferred to Championship side Workington Town with immediate effect.
Walker, 20, who featured in this week’s pre-season friendly against Widnes, was previously part of Town’s academy before joining the Wolves.
Warrington say that the move will provide him with regular game time and open-age first-team experience.
The Wolves will, however, have first option on him come the end of the transfer period.
