St Helens half-back Lance Hohaia has admitted he is unsure of his future beyond this season, but admits that the “end is definitely nearing”.
Hohaia is out of contract with the club following the conclusion of the 2015 season, and he told local media in St Helens it’s time to ponder his future and see what his next move will be – whether that is staying in the United Kingdom or heading somewhere else.
“My contract’s up at the end of the year and I’ll sit down with my wife and think about what we want to do and what our plans are,” he said. “I have two young boys, one’s nearly three and one’s nearly one so it’s a long time to be away from home.
“I’ve enjoyed my time but I definitely have to think about the future now and what’s right for us.
“I’m trying to enjoy the games I’ve got until the end of the season and see what happens.
“The end is definitely nearing and I’m getting ready for that.”
