Leading bookmaker Betway make Leeds’ Adam Cuthbertson 5/2 for rugby league’s top individual accolade, the Man Of Steel Award, having drawn the plaudits on his first season in Super League.
The online bookmaker are offering 5/1 for his retiring teammate Jamie Peacock to take the title, and it’s 4/6 that this year’s Man Of Steel is claimed by any Leeds player.
Outside of Yorkshire, Betway make St Helens’ James Roby a 6/1 shot and Wigan’s prolific winger Joe Burgess can be backed at 10/1.
At bigger odds, 2013 winner Danny Brough is 16/1 and last year’s Man Of Steel Daryl Clark can be backed at 25/1.
Castleford’s Michael Shenton is the 28/1 rank outsider to return the prize to The Jungle.
Betway’s Alan Alger, said: “It would be great to see Jamie Peacock retire as Man Of Steel, but Cuthbertson’s really lit up Super League this season and can take plenty of credit for whatever Leeds go on to achieve this season.”
