Hetherington backing Bulls’ promotion quest

Leeds Rhinos chairman Gary Hetherington has said that most fans of the sport would like to see Bradford eventually back in Super League – and says that the progress the club are making suggests that could happen soon.

Hetherington believes the Bulls stand a good chance of getting back into Super League at the first attempt, and is hoping the great rivalry between the Bulls and the Rhinos can continue in the coming years.

“They look to be making real progress so I think every rugby league fan would like to see them continue making progress and ultimately getting back in Super League,” Hetherington told the Telegraph and Argus.

“Rugby league is littered with great rivalries and Leeds-Bradford is one of the biggest.

“It’s something to look forward to again in the years to come – maybe in the not-too-distant future.”
