Here’s the moment Ben Pomeroy caught the attention of Vince McMahon after executing a pristine suplex on Castleford’s Ashley Gibson in the Dragons’s 44-26 victory over the Tigers.
Unfortunately for Pomeroy, he did it on the Rugby League field, and was shown his marching orders by referee Ben Thaler.
The ‘tackle’ on Gibson required him to leave the field on a stretcher after landing nastily on his neck.
Pomeroy will likely spend a number of weeks on the sideline for this offence, so calling out Brock Lesnar might help him pass the time.
