Wakefield Trinity Wildcats prop Nick Scruton has insisted that the pressure and stress surrounding last year’s Million Pound Game has left him determined never to experience the scenario again.
The Wildcats were forced into the do-or-die game against Bradford last year after finishing fourth in The Qualifiers – but they eventually prevailed against the Bulls to ensure their place in Super League for 2016 remained intact.
And Scruton, speaking to TotalRL.com in the video below, says that the whole group will be keen to avoid that pain again – insisting it wasn’t just stressful for him, but for his whole family.
