Cuthbertson: “My best is yet to come”

Leeds Rhinos forward Adam Cuthbertson has issued an ominous warning to the rest of Super League – saying his best form in a Leeds shirt is yet to come.

Cuthbertson was one of the signings of the season last year, and eventually finished on a three-man shortlist for the Steve Prescott Man of Steel, losing out to Rhinos teammate Zak Hardaker as the club won the treble for the first time.

But Cuthbertson, speaking to TotalRL.com, says he feels like he hasn’t hit top form yet, and he never really felt completely comfortable out on the field during his debut year in Super League.

“I’d like to think so, yeah,” he said when asked if he feels his best form is yet to be seen. “I like to evolve as a player and do what I can to better myself, so hopefully that’ll be the case this year.”

Cuthbertson also discusses his first year in Super League, the challenge of backing up a historic treble and much more in the interview below.
