Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane has revealed that he’s expecting former Bradford and St Helens winger Jamie Foster to line up against his side on Friday night.
Foster is currently on trial at Huddersfield, with reports suggesting he could be in line to feature for the club against the Warriors in Friday’s televised showdown at the John Smith’s Stadium.
And Wane, during his weekly pre-match media conference, revealed that if he’d done something similar and brought someone in, he’d be playing them – which is why he thinks Foster will be out on the field on Friday night.
He said: “If I brought a player in I think I’d play him. There’s no reason why he wouldn’t play; I’m expecting him to play.
“We’re not watching much footage on them though, we know how they play so we’re just focussing on 17 players that we need to be on the ball against.”
