Wolves wait on Dwyer news

Warrington Wolves will discover the severity of Brad Dwyer’s injury on Tuesday.

The hooker suffered ankle ligament damage in their dominant 56-12 victory over Castleford on Friday, a game in which he scored his first try of the season.

He was helped from the field in the second half and looks set to miss out on the Easter period. That news will be a blow to Tony Smith, who only brought Daryl Clark back into the squad last week after he recovered from a calf problem.

In a tweet, Dwyer confirmed he had sustained ligament damage.
