Paul Anderson has issued another rallying cry following Huddersfield’s defeat to Hull FC.
Despite encouraging signs, the Giants once again fell short as they failed to cope with Lee Radford’s side, conceding over 30 points for a second successive week.
And with their most recent loss keeping them at the bottom of Super League having won just one of their opening ten games, Anderson has called for solidarity throughout the club.
“It is not big plans that get you out of things like this it is about effort and sticking together so we have got to make sure that our effort is good all the time and show that we stick together and make sure that we keep battling on. People are deflated but we have to realise that we have some very good Rugby League players in this team and it is my job to try and get the best out of them.
“The sheer physicality of Hull got us today which wears you down. But if you clipped things down you make things look good in isolation and that is what we have been like in the last few weeks, we need to keep building, we have not been far off we just need to put it together and the number one priority for us is to make sure that starts with our practice and we take it into our games.”
