Dragons win again after edging Salford

Catalans extended their unbeaten run after defeating Salford 42-32.

The victory moves the Dragons up to second in Super League, level on points with leaders Warrington.

Another try for Jodie Broughton, along with other first-half efforts through Richie Myler, Morgan Escare and Vincent Duport gave Catalans a 16-14 lead, with Gareth O’Brien, Justin Carney and Junior Sa’u scoring for the Red Devils.

Sa’u scored his second to edge Salford ahead, but Broughton and Myler extended Salford’s lead with their second scores.

A third for Sa’u and one for Niall Evalds secured a nervy finish, but Pat Richards’ try secure victory for the hosts.
