Hull Kingston Rovers have confirmed that they are considering becoming the latest side to enter a reserve team in the newly-reformed reserve grade next year.
Only a handful of sides decided to opt for reserves this year, with the likes of Wigan, St Helens and Warrington amongst the small number of top flight teams that opted in.
But, speaking at the club’s fans forum on Thursday night, chairman Neil Hudgell admitted that it is now something they are considering.
He said:
Neil – Reserve grade team being considered for next season. Likely to happen. City of Hull Academy evolving but best way to go
