Sorry to get your hopes up Castleford fans, but the evergreen full-back is NOT having second thoughts.
Dorn was previewing Castleford’s Super 8s challenge when he was questioned about his upcoming retirement, and whether his recent form had tempted him to extend his career.
However, his response is emphatic.
“There’s no temptation to continue playing on,” he told League Express.
“Maybe I’ve had more freedom or I’m just excited that there’s no pre-season at the end of all this!
“The decision was based on non-football related matters but it’s nice to be playing well and it’s nice to know I’m contributing to the team’s form – hopefully I can go out with a bang.”
