Penny and Lineham remain absent for Warrington as Peyroux returns

Kevin Penny and Tom Lineham have been left out of the Warrington squad AGAIN for Warrington’s opening Super 8s game against St Helens.

The two wingers have missed out over recent weeks, with the two recently playing for League One side Rochdale.

Lineham played in Warrington’s victory over Castleford on July 17th, but hasn’t featured since having been left out of the squad for their last two matches before being overlooked for Thursday night’s clash too.

As for Penny, who has scored 12 tries in 18 appearances for the Wolves this season, he hasn’t played for the club since July 1st when Warrington drew with Hull KR.

Penny was in the 19-man squad for Warrington’s Challenge Cup victory over Hull KR before missing the cut for the 17, and along with Ryan Bailey has been replaced by Sam Wilde and Joe Philbin, with the latter returning from a loan spell with Bradford.
