Josh Griffin is set for a spell on the sidelines after revealing he picked up an injury on social media.
The Hull FC centre was helped off early in the second-half of the club’s Magic Weekend victory over Hull Kingston Rovers and left St James’ Park on crutches.
Griffin took to Twitter to thank fans for their support, and said he was determined to get back on the field as soon as possible.
Thanks for the love ⚫⚪Fans, Gutted with the news but know I'm in Great hands with our medical and conditioning staff, and will be doing everything I can to come back as soon as possible

The Black and Whites have yet to confirm the severity of the 28-year-old’s injury, although Lee Radford had expressed his fear after the game.
“He’ll be done I reckon for the year,” he said.
“The way our luck is going at the moment I’m not holding my breath anymore.”
