Tim Sheens has confirmed Hull Kingston Rovers have already made three signings for 2019.
The Robins head coach revealed an unnamed trio of outside players have already agreed to join the club next year as Sheens looks to add quality to his existing squad.
A big turnaround is expected at KCOM Craven Park, with 19 players currently off-contract at the end of the season.
Two of them are Adam Quinlan and Mose Masoe, although Sheens admitted the club was in talks with the pair regarding new deals.
Although he wouldn’t go as far as identifying the three players, it’s widely understood that Jimmy Keinhorst has agreed to join the club from Leeds while League Express linked the club with a move for Salford’s Ryan Lannon on Monday.
“We’ve got three signed at the moment,” Sheens said.
“But I’m not prepared to announce who they are at the moment. We’re still looking at other options but I’m also assessing our own crew and we’re in the middle of signing big Mose and Adam Quinlan as well. We’ve got to improve next year if we’re really going to be a force. They’re playing for contracts some of them.”
