Oldham forward Danny Bridge has been banned for nine months by the RFL’s disciplinary panel.
Bridge pleaded guilty to a Grade F charge of Assault on a Match Official during Oldham’s game against Keighley two weeks ago.
And the panel has handed down an extremely serious sanction on Tuesday night – banning Bridge for nine months, meaning he will be unavailable to play until April next year.
He was also fined £75.
