Bulls offer new deals to trio

Bradford Bulls have offered new deals to their three out of contract full-time players – Sam Hallas, Brandon Pickersgill and Joe Brown.

The move comes in line with the June deadline for clubs to make that move with their current players, and Bulls coach John Kear is hoping all three decide to stay.

Kear said: “They are all home-grown lads and that’s important to us; we want to keep them in our system and develop them.

“They’re also the right age profile for us going forward.

“Hopefully they all accept what’s been offered and stay with us.”

The club’s other three full-time players Ross Oakes, Jordan Lilley and Matty Dawson-Jones, are already tied down for 2021, along with part-timer Steve Crossley, the club captain.

Kear added: “It’s difficult with the part-time players until we know exactly what our budget will be.

“But they are certainly coming under our consideration at the moment and we’ve got our retention list drawn up.”
