Castleford Tigers could be set for rebrand as new investor outlines ideas to revolutionise Super League club

CASTLEFORD TIGERS’ newest investor, Martin Jepson, has revealed that he wants to rebrand the Super League club in the next six months.

Though a name change is unlikely, Jepson is keen to streamline the Castleford club’s colours as well as the typefaces that adorn billboards, posters and advertising around The Jungle.

2026 will also be a special year for the Tigers, with it being the club’s 100th anniversary since being admitted to the rugby league system – and Jepson has plans to include Castleford fans in proposals for the plans moving forward as he told the The COYFCast podcast in an exclusive interview.

“I’m very keen on rebranding. We go around the ground, are we yellow, are we orange or are we gold? Let’s deal with it,” Jepson said on The COYFCast podcast.

“The typefaces around the ground are all different, the logo is out of date. We have got a great opportunity to change that and get the fans involved.

“We don’t know how we are going to do that but there will be a chance for fans to get involved in that process down the line.

“We also have got the centenary of us joining the rugby league system in a few years so we have to start planning for that in 2026. That’s a great opportunity to engage with the fans as well.

“I want to look at rebranding in the next six months.”
