THE 2026 World Club Challenge is set to go ahead with Brisbane Broncos committed to travelling to the UK.
The Sydney Morning Herald has reported that the Broncos have agreed to travel and face Hull KR in February.
Hull FC’s MKM Stadium is expected to host the match, with its 25,500 capacity around double that of Rovers’ home ground, Sewell Group Craven Park.
Rovers’ partaking in the Las Vegas extravaganza in 2026 – where they will play Leeds Rhinos in a Super League game on March 1 – had made organisers nervous about the potential implications for the World Club Challenge, with the club to travel the previous weekend,
But the match is set to be played on Thursday, February 19.
