RFL urges North Wales Crusaders to settle debts after former halfback’s claims

FORMER North Wales Crusaders halfback Jamie Dallimore has claimed the League One champions’ former players are still waiting on contract money and match payments.

Dallimore, 37, who has signed for Rochdale Hornets for next season, made 14 appearances for the Crusaders in 2025 after returning from a doping ban.

On November 7, Dallimore said on X: “Still some lads no wages received for October despite the promises from the owners and new players being signed.”

He also aimed his frustration at the RFL, asking the governing body: “When will you start to support the players and stop ignoring it?”

Dallimore repeated the claims in two further posts in the following days, the latter on Thursday alleging that three players were still owed money.

In response, League Express was told by an RFL spokesperson: “The RFL are following the regulatory framework and using any available powers to urge the club to settle its debts.”
