Catalans Dragons complete overseas quota with Norths Devils winger

CATALANS DRAGONS have completed their business for next season with the addition of Australian winger Manase Kaho.

The 24-year-old has joined from Queensland Cup side Norths Devils on a two-year contract.

In three seasons at Norths, Kaho scored 44 tries in 53 appearances, including one effort in the Devils’ 2024 Grand Final win over Redcliffe Dolphins.

He subsequently appeared in their State Championship victory against New South Wales Cup champions Newtown Jets.

Kaho previously spent time with Canberra Raiders, playing for their second-string in the NSW Cup, but hasn’t made an appearance in the NRL.

He’ll now look to make his top-grade breakthrough in Super League with Catalans, as their tenth and last overseas player for 2026.

“Manase will be our final signing before the start of the season, and I’m very excited to welcome him,” said Dragons head coach Joel Tomkins.

“He’ll bring pace and has an excellent try-scoring ability. Manase joins us at an ideal point in his development as a player and is motivated to take the next step in Super League.”

Eight of Catalans’ overseas contingent are newcomers, with only Tevita Satae and Nick Cotric remaining from last season.

And two have already made plans to leave, as Iszac Fa’asuamaleaui joins Toby Sexton in cutting a two-year deal short to join Perth Bears when they enter the NRL in 2027.
