PERTH BEARS have confirmed the signing of their second Catalans Dragons star in the shape of Iszac Fa’asuamaleaui.
Fa’asuamaleaui, along with fellow Catalans recruit Toby Sexton, will link up with the Bears ahead of their inaugural season in the NRL in 2027.
The 24-year-old only put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Dragons earlier this year, but he will exit the Stade Gilbert Brutus after just one season.
Fa’asuamaleaui has made 28 NRL appearances for the Gold Coast Titans.
“The Perth Bears provide an incredible opportunity for me to continue my career and play a part in building something special in Western Australia,” Fa’asuamaleaui said.
“It’s going to be good to get to play with Toby (Sexton) at Catalans and hopefully have a strong year in Super League.
“That’s my priority right now but in 2027 I’ll be ready to give it my all for the Bears.”
