York Valkyrie agree new deals with England backs

YORK VALKYRIE have re-signed two England international backs for next season.

Centre Tamzin Renouf has committed for another two years while winger Eboni Partington has agreed a deal for 2026.

Next year will be a sixth in York colours for Renouf, who was the club’s joint-top try-scorer with 13 when they won their first Women’s Super League title in 2023.

Partington joined from St Helens the following year and dotted down 24 times as they retained that crown.

Last season, in which York came third, Renouf scored nine tries in 17 matches while Partington recorded 11 in 19.

Both spent time in unfamiliar positions during the campaign, with Renouf often appearing at halfback and Partington moved to fullback.

Renouf, 24, said: “I’m committed to working harder than ever, ready for whatever this season has in store, and focused on being the best player and team-mate I can be.”

Partington, 23, added: “I’m grateful to continue this journey and so ready to see what we can build together this year.”
