NEWCASTLE THUNDER have added another York Knights player to their ranks by signing Jude Ferreira.
The 24-year-old centre was limited to three appearances in his sole York season, suffering a serious knee injury in April.
A Hull FC product, Ferreira scored 22 tries in 28 games to help Hunslet to promotion from League One in 2024.
“Jude has got the right mindset to fit into our squad and offers some strike from the outside backs,” said Newcastle head coach Graham Steadman.
“Once fully recovered from injury, we’re confident he’ll add real competition and quality to our squad, and I am looking forward to working with him.”
Thunder have also added Bailey Antrobus, Sam Cook and Joe Law from York as the two clubs build a strong partnership.
