GOOLE VIKINGS hooker Will Jubb says the uncertainty surrounding the future of his former club Featherstone created a “horrible situation”.
Jubb, 29, was due to represent Rovers this year before their failure to exit administration led to them being excluded by the RFL.
The ex-Hull KR and York player then joined Goole, and explained: “It wasn’t ideal, and I was mostly training on my own.
“It was very difficult, the uncertainty wasn’t nice, and it comes with financial implications as well, which creates extra stress.
“It was a horrible situation for everyone involved, and for me, it was brilliant to get the Goole deal done.
“I’d been watching them closely, and always thought it would be a place I’d like to play at some point.”
