THE 2026 Student Four Nations competition reaches its second stage at the weekend with Wales and holders England both targeting big wins after registering impressive victories in their opening fixtures.
England, who triumphed 80-10 at Scotland, are at home to Ireland, who lost 50-0 to visitors Wales nine days ago. Wales entertain Scotland.
The England versus Ireland match, at Halton Farnworth Hornets on Saturday, kicks-off at 1.00pm.
Wales and Scotland clash at Merthyr at 4.00pm, following Under 17 and Under 16 games between the nations.
The Under 16 Four Nations, which opened with emphatic wins for England and Wales at, respectively, Scotland and Ireland, also continues.
Both games will precede the Student Four Nations internationals involving the same two countries – and at the same venues – while the occasion at Merthyr will in fact be a triple-header, Wales meeting Scotland in an Under 17 friendly.
